  The Pimple/Abscess A pimple (gumboil) is usually the sign of an abscess on a tooth. In addition sometimes the tooth may darken in color. There may or may not be pain associated with the pimple. If you notice a gumboil by your child's tooth, please contact our office for an examination (904) 829-6321.
